Jason Krekel, banjo and fiddle
Jason Krekel has musical roots in Louisville KY and is son of the legendary Tim Krekel. In the Firecracker Jazz Band, Jason is featured on banjo and tenor guitar, authentic instruments of the period. He also makes hand cranked posters and plays in the Mad Tea Party. www.themadteaparty.com

Caroline Pond, Fiddle and Vocals
The sound of Caroline Pond�s twenties-style vocals and her astonishing skills on the fiddle add a spice to The Firecracker Jazz Band. Her unique voice blends well with the band, and lends color from a jazz era gone by. Inspired by Annette Hanshaw, Ethel Waters, Billy Holiday, Helen Kane and many other torch singers from the 1920's and beyond, she mixes it up and has a style all her own. Caroline has traveled with The Firecracker Jazz Band to Bonaroo, New York City, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Ohio and North Carolina. When not guest appearing with the Firecrackers, she plays in the internationally famous band, Snake Oil Medicine Show, where she plays violin, ukelele and sings.
